Memorial Names – Surname H to L

The following men, who fell in the Great War, with surnames beginning with “H” to “L” are named on the Buxton Slopes Memorial, as well as other Memorials around the town. The only exception is the St John’s Church Memorial which, in addition, contains the names of other casualties who were associated with the Church, though not always included on the ‘official‘ town Memorial on The Slopes.
